Remember USB Drive Guard Updates are always FREE
USB Drive Guard is always being improved and all update information will be on this page
Version 1.1.35 - Added August 18, 2012 - Improved the ejection client speed, and reporting on Administrative application.
Version 1.1.34 - Added June 21, 2011 - Added a new feature that will allow you to add a serial number for a usb drive to a list and the next time that drive is inserted into a pc protected by USB Drive guard all files and folders will be erased from that drive right before it is ejected. No special message or warning. This option is to punish a person constantly tries to insert their drive. Files marked as read only are not deleted at this time. If you are updating your current installation to this new version you will need to update both the client app and the administrator app. Run the Admin app once before running the client app to create the new database fields.
Version 1.1.29 - Added February 14, 2011 - Improved database performance so even more users can use the database at the same time.
Version 1.1.27 - Added October 16, 2010 - Adjusted version number to equal other version internal releases. Improved the cache approved drive list for offline use with a way to add computers to a list where they will be the only ones cached. So you can either add computers on the list and have only them cached or you can choose to cache all computers. If you have a large user base all caching approved drives this could create a situation where a lot of traffic could be created. Example would be if you have USB Drive Guard client installed on hundreds of computers and you had a large approved list and Monday morning everyone comes in and turns their pc on at the same time it could slow that server down depending on your server. The solution is to approved only computers that really need this option like laptops and other portable computers that are more likely to lose connection from the network and database.
Version 1.1.24 - Added September 11, 2010 - Changed installation setup to include both admin and client installs. No need to download different files for either the Admin or Client install. added a GPO installation file list for those who want to install with a Windows Group policy or other scripting software. See the support page for that information. Added a new database field to include free space on approved drive. This is for those who have forced users to use encrypted drives and want to make sure the users haven't deleted the encrypted portion of those drives. Added a new feature where a list of all the approved & Enabled drives are stored, cached, on each networked workstation so when a user disconnects from the network and the ejection application is still running it can check the cached list of approved drives and still function as if it were still connected. Of course nothing will be written to the approved or ejection logs. You must be connected to the network in order to log records. Each time the networked client PC is started while on the network a new approved drive list is created. This feature is very useful for those with laptops that disconnect from your network and still need to be protected. In order to activate this new feature you must click on this option in the Options window. Started this version history page. All new updates descriptions will be listed here.
